A "reveal on desktop" in the right-click menu for buffers and the file system browser
could be handy.
(Reveal on Desktop would open the directory of the window in the systems GUI (Explorer
on windows, Finder on Mac)

For Windows there's a macro "Show_in_WindowsExplorer.bsh" at the Community page (http://community.jedit.org/?q=filestore/browse/36).
I guess it wouldn't be not too hard to extend it to support other OS's for people
knowing these systems. Like every macro it can be added to the text area's right-click menu. For file system browser it's not possible at this point, I think. |

The Launcher plugin will (when it is ready) provide actions that do what you want
on all platforms, not just windows. Then you can just add that to the context menu. |

Sounds good. Will it also be possible to and it to the context menu in the file system browser? Or is that a specific feature request for that part? |

When 2947472 is closed, you should be able to add launcher actions to your context
menu. |
